The stories from our truck days with Vinny are truly endless. We laughed, we cried, we hugged, we met some amazing people, and learned a big handful of lessons along the way. I could seriously write a book with all of the crazy stories from all the years of truck events (may or not be on my list of things I want to accomplish). There’s a particular story that has stuck with me that I wanted to share! This curious encounter happened during the early truck event days at Botham Vinyard’s Vintage Car Show.
It has been two years since we opened our doors on Stoughton’s Main Street. We truly wouldn’t be where we are today without the support and love from the Stoughton community. Grasshopper Goods is what it is today because of the incredible community surrounding it. In honor of our 2nd anniversary in Stoughton, we wanted to re-share the story of how Grasshopper Goods began calling Stoughton home.
Ah, Halloween. A holiday traditionally celebrated to remember dead Martyrs and ward off evil spirits. Today, Halloween carries a much different meaning. What is it about Halloween that gets folks so excited? What makes Halloween so special? It’s a time of year that inspires our inner child. An excuse to let our freak flags fly and be as over the top as we want to be. A time when being weird and not taking yourself too seriously is encouraged.

When we landed, we jumped into a taxi to cross the island. As I climbed into the front seat, a green grasshopper landed on the outside of the windshield right in front of me.
