Back to school is just around the corner! While there is still much unknown to what this school year will bring, there is an element of excitement in the air as educators, students, and parents begin preparing for the first day of school. The new school year has a “new beginning” feeling; a fresh start, if you will. 

This time of year brings about many memories of us launching our kids on their first day of school over the years and for myself as an educator. The excitement as August inches closer; school supplies shopping trips; first day of school outfits; haircuts; double checking class lists; packing lunches; the bittersweet goodbye to summer with the added anticipation for the school year.
